Forest Disturbance Leads to Higher Peak Flows

In a presentation at the Kettle River Watershed Advisory Committee meeting in November 2019, MacHydro presented some preliminary information from the Cumulative Effects study being conducted for the Boundary region.

Among other information, MacHydro stated that, “Forest disturbance leads to higher flows, particularly peak flows.”

BFWSS looks forward to further information that emerges from the Cumulative Effects study in 2020.
