The campaign for a New Forest Act just entered a new phase.
This isn’t theory anymore – it’s action. We’re taking our proposal to MLAs, councils, and communities across British Columbia, and we need the resources to keep moving.
That’s why today we launched a New Forest Act fundraising campaign:
- $7,500 by September 15 (first milestone)
- $30,000 by December 31 (to fuel the full campaign and prep for the 2026 Roadshow)
Why does it matter? Because BC forests aren’t just timber. They’re infrastructure. They protect our water, our communities, and our future. The New Forest Act is designed to do what the current laws don’t:
- Put ecological integrity first – so water and watersheds can do their jobs
- Restore damaged forests instead of writing them off
- Allow only careful, limited logging where it won’t destroy streams, slopes, or drinking water
This campaign isn’t funded by government or industry. It’s funded by people who care enough to step up. Already, on the first day, supporters chipped in $620 – proof that this work is worth backing.
We’re asking you to join them.

If you’re strapped for time, skip the full proposal and check out the two-page executive summary – forestry reform in snack-pack form.
Every dollar raised goes directly into the work: MLA briefings, community outreach, and public education to push forestry reform onto BC’s political agenda.
This is people power. And with your help, we’ll hit $7,500 by Sept 15 and keep building toward the change BC needs.
